This Eastern Pheobe came to introduce itself on an early morning when I visited Acadia National Park. They tend to eat small bugs and flying insects. I am always amused by how far back on its head its eyes sit. They only have a very small section of overlapping vision between their two eyes directly in front of its beak so it can see the bug it is about to make its lunch.
